The bill (reg. no. 1187-1) suggests adopting a new version of the Law “On higher education.” It determines the principles of state policy; the authorities of governmental agencies and local self-government bodies in the sphere of higher education; and the procedure of establishment, reorganization, and liquidation of higher education establishments.
The bill covers social security of the survivors of the Chornobyl disaster. The people’s deputies said that clause 79 of the bill entitles the school graduates to the privileges during enrollment to the university.
